           I have always been more of a 'dog person'. My first dog was a poodle terrier mix I received when I was 5, and later used as my obedience class/showmanship dog in 4-H. I've owned, raised, and fosterd multiple breeds over the years. After getting married and moving to our farm we began to look for a Livestock Guardian Dog and settled on the Turkish Kangal Breed. I love our big guy and everything about him, but he is very independent. He checks in with us and then back to work he goes, preferring to keep a lookout from the hill that overlooks our home, barns, coops and property. 

          One of the more frustrating aspects of having a farm is to keep livestock where they belong, move them to new areas, and to keep them from being pushy with the kids at feeding time. I started researching the herding breeds, trying to find a breed that checked all of my requirements and would best fit our family, lifestyle, and farm. It didn't take long for Standard Australian Shepherds to remain at the top of my list. I loved their versatility, size, compact build, personalities, trainability, loyalty, ball/frisbee drive, and Velcro-like attachment to their owners.

          We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! Our Australian Shepherds are Health Tested by Embark and PawPrints. We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. Our family works together to begin age-appropriate training and socialization with the puppies. The puppies are taught patience and good manners from an early age. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy and to ensure they are placed with their perfect new families!
